94th Infantry Division 2010 Tour
October 22-29, 2010
With the outbreak of the Battle of the Bulge, the 94th Infantry Division was pulled from southern Brittany and moved to the Siegfried Line between the Moselle and Saar Rivers. The 94th broke through German lines and then repulsed a determined German counterattack. Author and Historian Tony Le Tissier will lead this tour of the 94th Infantry Division battlefields, towns and cities around the Saar-Moselle Triangle. Tony, author of Patton’s Pawns, has led our 94th battlefield tours before and interviewed many 94th Veterans, giving him unique expertise and experience interpreting this important chapter of World War II history.

Alsace-Lorraine 2010 Battlefield Tour
September 14-24, 2010
The US 3rd and 7th Armies were poised to move into Germany in late 1944 when Hitler launched the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes. Patton’s 3rd Army was pulled off line in the Alsace-Lorraine front and sent north to relieve beleaguered US divisions in the Bulge. Left behind was the 7th Army, stretched too thin to pursue offensive operations and barely sufficient for defense. Hitler realized this and launched Operation Nordwind against the Alsace-Lorraine front. Our tour includes battlefields of the Parroy Forrest, the Vosges Mountains and key towns such as Niederbronn, Bitche, Hatten, Rittershofen and others caught in the ferocious battle.

2010 Timberwolf Cruise and Tour
Once again, MilSpec Tours hosted a European Battlefield Tour for the 104th Infantry Division Association. This year, in addition to visiting the battlefields of the fabled “Timberwolves,” we enjoyed a cruise on the Rhine.
An additional benefit of cruising was the all inclusive price. With little exception, once you pay for your European River Cruise, there is little else out of pocket expense. Breakfast, including complimentary Champagne, most lunches and dinner, with free wine and beer were included in the cruise price. Sightseeing and touring, including an English speaking guide, were also included.
All the cabins were outside with windows, so our tour participants could watch the vineyards and castles sail by. But, few in the group spent much time in their cabins. They were sightseeing, or on deck enjoying the many amenities offered on the deluxe Viking cruise ship MS Helvetia.

7th Army Spearhead Tour
We follow the path of General Lucian Truscott’s VI Corps that spearheaded the Seventh Army’s ANVIL/DRAGOON landings on the French Riviera. This tour will be led by Colonel Wilson Heefner, USA-Ret., historian and author of Dogface Soldier: The Life of Lucian K. Truscott, Jr. Together with Patrick Hinchy, one of the most experienced Tour Directors in Europe, they will give a memorable and fascinating account of the struggle to drive the German armies from southern France on the actual battlefields of that epic effort.
